Veals    

A very popular fishery with anglers who appreciate the countryside. Veals has provided many members with their first double figure carp.

Parking: Within the grounds. Park in front of the barn, but keep access clear.

Stock: Carp (+10lb) & silvers

Please note;  This is a rod and line only venue. No poles at any time.

The Marl pit      

The Marlpit is our premier silver water 

A water owned by Lewes Angling Club, which is surrounded by woodland. It is an ideal family fishery

Parking: Within the grounds.

Facilities: Undercover barbecue/Toilet

Stock: Bream (5lb), Skimmers, Perch, Tench (2lb), chub, Barbel & Roach.

Weirwood reservoir 

An outstanding reservoir in the heart of Sussex. With a wide variety of fishing available, including course, match & pike. Boat hire is available, as well as a cafe on site and a tackle shop. Fishing is permitted between 7:30am and dusk.

Stock: Perch, Roach, Bream, Carp, Pike. Expect a 50lb bag for a 6 hour session!!!

Rules:
1. Clubs are allowed to fish dawn to dusk
2. Clubs may fish for all species of fish except trout
3. Clubs have half a mile of north bank to fish
4. Clubs have half a mile of south bank to fish
5. Clubs are allowed to park in designated car parks
6. Every member must report to shop before fishing
7. Club members may have 1 guest a day at £10.00
8. Keep nets are only permitted in matches
9. Night fishing is available at £10.00 per night
10. Club members must show badge or booklet before fishing
11. Club members are not permitted to fish in certain areas of the reservoir (reserved for syndicate)
